As part of a wider business objective to streamline operations and embrace digital transformation, logistics solutions provider East Trans has successfully digitised its driver communications and compliance processes using The Driver Handbook app and TDHConnect content management system.

With a commitment to innovation and safety, East Trans rolled out The Driver Handbook to its fleet in early 2021. Just months into implementation, the company has already experienced significant improvements in communication efficiency, reduced reliance on printed materials, and better visibility over driver engagement with essential information.

The Driver Handbook combines two integrated platforms: a user-friendly mobile app for drivers and TDHConnect, a web-based content management system for fleet managers. Together, they provide a powerful alternative to traditional, paper-based driver handbooks—giving businesses real-time control over what information is shared, when, and with whom.

Initially adopting the app to access The Driver Handbook’s standard industry content, East Trans quickly began uploading their own company-specific materials, replacing printed documents and ensuring their team was receiving up-to-date, safety-critical information directly to their devices.
