We’re hiring a Business Administrator
We’re looking for a confident, adaptable Business Administrator to join our small, friendly team.
It’s a varied hybrid role – part bookkeeping and invoicing, part customer service and sales support, part office based and working from home – so you’ll need to be organised, proactive and happy juggling a mix of tasks.
Full-time or part-time considered, with hybrid working from home and our Crich office.

Who we’re looking for
We’re looking for a confident, adaptable Business Administrator to join our close-knit team. You’ll play a key role keeping everything running smoothly – from invoicing and finance admin to supporting sales and customer relationships.
It’s a hands-on role in a small, fast-moving business, so you’ll need to be organised, proactive and happy juggling a mix of tasks. A sense of humour helps too – we work hard but keep things friendly and down-to-earth.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll provide essential financial, sales and administrative support to the business. The role combines bookkeeping and invoicing with sales administration, customer service and first-line support. You’ll get to know our cloud based platform and app to confidently help and support our customers .
Bookkeeping and invoicing
- Create and manage customer invoices, record payments and oversee accounts receivable
- Monitor overdue accounts and follow up where needed
- Reconcile income and expenses with financial records and support preparation of management accounts
- Work with the directors and liaise with external accountants as required
Sales and administrative support
- Maintain accurate customer and prospect records within our systems
- Support directors with business development, scheduling, follow-ups, and documentation
- Prepare proposals, quotations and sales materials
- Coordinate internal communication to ensure smooth handovers between demo, sales and onboarding
- Assist with reports, presentations and sales tracking
- Ensure compliance with company policies and quality standards
Customer service and support
- Act as the first point of contact for customer queries
- Deliver online product demonstrations and provide first-line support
- Maintain strong customer relationships, ensuring professional and timely responses
- Gather customer feedback to help improve products and services
Who we’re looking for
- Confident communicator who enjoys working with and talking to people
- Organised, adaptable, and comfortable working in a small, growing business
- Experience in bookkeeping, invoicing or accounts administration
- Comfortable with accounting software and cloud based systems
- Proactive problem-solver with a good sense of humour and a “can do” attitude
