Recognised for road safety: The Driver Handbook receives DVSA accreditation
We’ve started the week well by receiving DVSA accreditation for The Driver Handbook. This DVSA scheme recognises products that are well-designed and have the potential to improve road safety.
The Driver Handbook is aimed at helping drivers reduce the risks they face and present to others. There is plenty of technology that has been introduced into fleet operations over the past decade, but this is predominantly for vehicles e.g. defect reporting, journeys and tachograph analysis. However, there has been a gap in communications for drivers as mobile lone workers.
We used our combined expertise in managing work related road risk, legal compliance, health and safety, staff communications and tech development to introduce a 21st century method of communicating to vocational drivers.
